TRECHT! 2024 Seminar bookmaking with students from all departments of the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU). Seminar bookmaking with the city of Utrecht in all its facets. Sound, graffiti, graphic design, thrift stores, underwater photos in the city’s canals, maps, broken bicycle locks with the letter U. This motley mix of images found its way into the book. In two weeks collecting, illustrating, photographing, discussing, paper selection, print production and binding. The result is included in the Stadsarchief of Utrecht also the publication and seminar TRAJECTUM I did a year earlier. There are plans to set up these seminars at other academies, each city has its own language, noise, also social and political.
