Held concurrently with the “Ibaraki Art Book Fair by THE COPY TRAVELERS,” this exhibition, “Transparent Techniques: Will a Demon Appear, or a Snake?”, is a curated show aiming to explore printing and reproduction from perspectives distinct from art books. To this end, we invited 15 artists who utilize various media in their work and asked them to create pieces specifically for display as B2-sized prints produced via on-demand printing.
We hope you will enjoy discovering how each artist navigated these constraints—whether they conjured a demon or a snake—and their reflections on printing and reproduction.
